I just wanted to send you a quick email of thank you! I don’t know if you still remember me – I took your grammar class when I was in middle school. I’m currently a high school senior two weeks away from graduating, and I’ll be attending MIT in the fall. I’ve just really come to realize how much of an impact taking your classes has made on me; I regularly read over many documents of my peers, and I’ve noticed that grammar is something often overlooked. Your tree diagram methods have most definitely helped me break down sentences when I write or read, and I know these skills will be of use for the rest of my life.
